Fulton Sheen Novena for the 2026 Jubilee of America’s Soul
If there is one American saintly leader whom the United States needs to intercede for us—and guide us through the storm threatening to sink our republic—it is Venerable Fulton J. Sheen. He was among the greatest patriots and prophets of the 20th century. With clarity unmatched in our time, he foresaw this very hour we are now living. Like Abraham Lincoln, Sheen feared that if America were ever to fall, it would not be from an invading army but from moral corruption within, from abandoning the Christian foundations that once made this nation a light to the world.
Nearly 80 years ago, Fulton Sheen sounded the alarm with words that now read like a mirror of today:
“We are living in the days of the apocalypse, the last days of our era… the two great forces of the Mystical Body of Christ and the Mystical Body of Antichrist are beginning to draw up the battle lines for the catastrophic contest.”
Those battle lines are no longer forming—they have fully emerged. And America stands in the very center of the collision.
2026: America’s 250th Anniversary—and a Judgment
The year 2026 marks the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States—a jubilee year not only for a nation, but for its soul. America will either experience a rebirth or a funeral. It will rediscover its Catholic roots, return to the God who made it great, and rise again to its mission… or it will collapse under the weight of its apostasy, corruption, and rebellion against truth.
Providence is speaking loudly:
2026 is also the year when the Church is anticipated to declare Fulton J. Sheen “Blessed.”
This convergence is not accidental. It is divine choreography.
Fulton Sheen—America’s greatest evangelist, defender of truth, prophet of culture, and champion of the Eucharist—is being raised to the altars at the precise moment when America reaches its 250th birthday, a Biblical moment of reckoning, restoration, and release.
Heaven is telling us:
“You will not save America politically. You will save America spiritually—or not at all.”
December 9: Heaven’s Date of Warning and Hope
A year ago, the Church designated December 9—the day Sheen died before the Blessed Sacrament—as his official feast. But the date carries three monumental meanings:
The ancient feast of the Immaculate Conception, patroness of the United States.
The first apparition of Our Lady of Guadalupe, who crushed a diabolical culture of death and baptized an entire civilization.
The heavenly birthday of Fulton Sheen, fulfilling his longing to die before the Eucharistic Lord on a Marian feast.
These three signs—the Marian patroness of America, the Marian Empress of the Americas, and the Marian apostle chosen for this nation—form a single message:
Heaven desires to rescue America, but the rescue will come through Mary, through the Eucharist, and through the witness of Fulton Sheen.

America is spiritually hemorrhaging.
The family is collapsing.
Truth is mocked.
Evil is normalized.
Freedom is being replaced with enslavement.
And the Mystical Body of Antichrist is openly advancing.
Fulton Sheen is not merely a saint for private devotion.
He is the saint chosen for this precise turning point in history.
He is the voice America ignored when it was healthy—and the voice we desperately need now that we are sick unto death.
We can no longer be half-disciples.
We can no longer delay conversion.
We must become saints now—or we will not endure what comes next.

As we enter these nine days of prayer, let us ask Venerable Fulton J. Sheen to:
Intercede for America,
Guide the Church in this hour of sifting,
Form us into the saints this generation requires,
And lead our nation back to its true mission and identity in God.
